In a landscape where contemporary architecture is often defined by verticality, INNERDUNE takes a different path.

Rather than dominating the horizon, the project is embedded within the natural contours of the desert. Its circular geometry emerges gently from the landscape as a new topography, preserving the visual continuity of Abu Dhabi’s dunes.

The architectural ring organizes the resort around a vast inner sanctuary where water, vegetation, light, and sky converge.

From the outside, the building maintains a deliberately restrained presence. Within, it gradually reveals a protected and immersive world.

An architecture of depth rather than height, of presence rather than spectacle, of horizon rather than urban skyline.

INNERDUNE proposes a new vision for the luxury desert resort in Abu Dhabi — one defined by integration with the landscape rather than domination over it.

The façade of INNERDUNE is conceived not as a wall, but as a vertical rhythm.

Slender metal fins define the building envelope, translating the movement and shifting patterns of the desert into architectural lines.

By day, they precisely filter the sunlight, creating a subtle interplay of shadow, transparency, and depth. As the sun moves across the sky, the façade evolves, reflecting the changing tones of the surrounding landscape.

From afar, a pure curve follows the horizon.
Up close, rhythm, material, and light are revealed.

At nightfall, the architecture takes on a different character.

The façade becomes a luminous veil, with light diffusing between the vertical fins and gradually transforming the architectural ring into an almost immaterial presence within the desert night.

The building does not dominate the desert. It glows from within it.

INNERDUNE does not interrupt the horizon.
It extends it.

ARRIVAL — A THRESHOLD BETWEEN DESERT AND HORIZON

The INNERDUNE experience begins with an arrival pavilion that appears to emerge naturally from the dune. Its sculptural, horizontal roof follows the curve of the approach, creating a seamless transition between the vastness of the Abu Dhabi desert and the intimate world of the resort.

An oculus open to the sky draws natural light into the heart of the space, introducing the project’s architectural language from the very first moment: circle, shadow, material, and horizon. Beneath this protective canopy, the lobby welcomes guests into a calm, warm atmosphere before gradually revealing the architectural ring, water, and vegetation of the inner landscape.

Arrival becomes a passage — from desert to sanctuary, from horizon to intimacy.

THE ASCENT — FROM DEPTH TO LIGHT
From the lobby, the elevators guide guests towards the different levels of INNERDUNE. Vertical lines, mineral materials, deep tones, and indirect lighting create a calm, understated sense of monumentality. The ascent becomes part of the inner journey, gradually connecting the heart of the resort with its more private spaces.

THE CORRIDORS — FOLLOWING THE CURVE
Beyond the elevators, the corridors naturally follow INNERDUNE’s circular geometry. Their gentle curvature traces the architectural ring, intuitively guiding guests towards their rooms. Warm timber, soft lighting, and continuous lines create an intimate, almost residential atmosphere, where doors blend seamlessly into the surrounding surfaces.

Here, circulation is not simply about reaching a room — it is a continuation of the INNERDUNE experience.

THE ROOMS — WHERE THE HORIZON BECOMES INTIMATE
Opening onto the heart of INNERDUNE, the rooms combine natural materials, soft light, and enveloping lines. An intimate retreat where luxury is expressed through space, serenity, and a close connection to the landscape.

THE PRESIDENTIAL SUITE — A WORLD OF ITS OWN
Conceived as a private residence, the Presidential Suite unfolds through expansive spaces overlooking the water and the dunes. An exclusive retreat where architecture, light, and landscape become one.

THE RESTAURANT — DINING AT THE HEART OF THE DUNE
Overlooking the central pool, the restaurant extends the immersive INNERDUNE experience. Warm lighting, natural materials, and views across the water create an intimate and refined atmosphere where gastronomy becomes part of the landscape.

Here, dining becomes an experience shaped by architecture, light, and the desert.

THE DOME — BETWEEN TWO WATERS
Beneath the main outdoor pool, a glazed dome supported by a refined metal structure reveals the water above in transparency. Suspended over the spa pool, it creates a striking dialogue between two bodies of water: one open to the sky, the other sheltered beneath the surface.

Light filters through the water, transforming the structure into a living architecture of reflections and movement.
