Les Arches! is an urban intervention and hospitality project in Lausanne, Switzerland, located beneath the Grand Pont and designed as a contemporary reinterpretation of a historic public space.
The project emerged after years of deliberation and multiple rejected proposals, before finally establishing a clear and coherent vision for the site.
Conceived as a minimal and precise intervention, the design reveals the existing stone arches while introducing a subtle architectural layer.
A continuous deck surface integrates lighting elements that enhance each arch, transforming the space into a refined and atmospheric urban destination.
