ARCHIVED PROJECTS

Alongside the major projects featured in the portfolio, Adeli’s early career also gave rise to intriguing conceptual projects, now archived in this section.

These initial works, infused with creativity and experimentation, reflect a continual pursuit of innovation.

Over time, additional exclusively conceptual pre-projects were presented to various clients, offering unique and bold visions for each space, often sketched only in 3D renderings to capture their essence prior to realization.

These creations showcase an ability to anticipate and reinvent the needs and aspirations of each project.

ARCHIVED PROJECTS REALISED BETWEEN 1999-2004

IRAN AIR TRAVEL AGENCY - GENEVA / SWITZERLAND

The design blended modernity with subtle touches inspired by Persepolis, reflecting the heritage of ancient Persia while creating a sleek, contemporary space.

In collaboration with Joakim de Rham, this project showcased Adeli’s ability to merge tradition with modernity, capturing the essence of a sophisticated airline while establishing his architectural identity.

MP SPORT & SHOES STORE - YVERDON LES BAINS / SWITZERLAND

MP was a popular chainstore situated in a few Swiss towns in the 90s, then in 2000 the owner decided to totally rennovate it using a well-targeted product placement strategy.

For one of the first projects, the design plan for MP concentrated on all the interior architecture parametres of the marketing department in the context of a commercial space and the clients’ approach towards each product.

Covering a surface area of 800m2 and divided into men’s shoes, women’s shoes and sportswear, MP was one of the first stores in Switzerland created using this concept.

The design and execution was realised in collaboration with Michèle Finkbeiner & Joakim de Rham.

After being announced as the winner, the project was canceled following Tag Heuer's acquisition by LVMH. The new ownership felt the designs no longer aligned with the brand's direction, and thus, the displays were never produced.

PRELIMINARY 3D ARCHITECTURAL CONCEPTS

AMPHITHEATER - TEHRAN / IRAN

The amphitheater project, taking place into a mall in Teheran – Iran, was imagined for a private bank as a conference and an amphitheatre room.

Entering the space, we discover another world, a parallel world like the ROOTS OF TREE. These compose the hall walls in shape of structures. Indeed, the concept stands between the complexity of the roots invading the room and the sober image of the bank. A wooden ceiling marks the mezzanine and the stage, as the armchairs are facing it.

On the left, the various jewelry watch brands are presented uniformly in rectangular showcases, with each brand name positioned above its respective watch.

The ceiling, also highlighted, features large circular openings, including a central one where a glass cylinder suspends a metallic clock, symbolizing the passage of time.

ALAMOUT PAPER & CO - TEHRAN / IRAN

The design of the administrative building for Alamout Paper & Co is inspired by the cardboard recycling process, the core activity of the factory.

The building reflects each stage of this transformation, from the initial reception of cardboard to its conversion into recycled paper.

The exterior spiral staircase, inspired by the grinding screw mechanism, symbolizes the continuous movement of material through the production phases.

The final form of the building consists of interlocking cubes, reminiscent of stacked cardboard awaiting transformation.

This modular composition illustrates the accumulation and reprocessing of material, while providing functional and dynamic spaces, thus embodying the very essence of recycling and innovation at the heart of Alamout Paper & Co.
