COMPETITION DESIGN PROJECT
2nd PRICE
LAUSANNE - SWITZERLAND

The Concept

The area surrounding Hôtel Angleterre & Résidence is defined by the richness of its natural environment. Located across from the majestic Lake Geneva, this place seems suspended in perfect harmony between earth, water, and sky.

The landscape presents a graceful interplay of verticality, with trees rising like living sculptures and framing the shimmering waters of the lake.
This natural tableau is imbued with colors and rhythms, constantly evolving with the seasons and the passage of time, offering a distinct charm at every moment.

Hôtel Angleterre & Résidence integrates effortlessly into this serene setting, combining elegance with a balance of authenticity and modernity.
Every aspect of the property invites reflection, from the terraces overlooking breathtaking views to the tranquil, tree-lined gardens.

In universal symbolism, verticality is the simplest representation of the relationship between earth and sky!

The Concept Configuration

The Main Entrance of the Residence Florissant

The first crucial step in the renovation project for Hôtel Angleterre & Résidence was the client’s decision to create two model rooms, one in each of two buildings within the property: Résidence 1, Florissant, and Résidence 2, Longchamp.

This approach allowed the design and functionality to be tested in different contexts, ensuring a thorough evaluation before proceeding with the project for all other rooms.

This strategy enabled every detail to be meticulously reviewed, guaranteeing results that meet the highest expectations.

The Adeli design office crafted these model rooms with particular attention.
The primary goal was to create elegant spaces, perfectly aligned with the prestige and sophistication of Hôtel Angleterre.

Once this elegance was established, key concepts were developed, focusing on functionality and comfort, to provide a unique and memorable experience for future guests.

The Model Room - Residence Florissant

Particular attention was given to the functional details when creating this show room, as the client's specifications emphasized that the functionality of the room was almost more important than the design itself.

Indeed, the client specifically highlighted that the practical aspects of the room took precedence over its aesthetic appeal.

Every element was carefully considered to ensure optimal use of space, while meeting the functional requirements and practical expectations, without compromising the overall design harmony of the project.
