LES ARCHES!

BAR TERRASSE

It took many years for the Council to approve the project of « Les Arches! Bar Terrasse » under Lausanne’s Grand Pont.

Many projects had been rejected before finally allowing the space for a very clean and minimalist concept that was based on a deck flooring incorporating a set of lights essential for the enhancement of each Arch.

THE BAR CONCEPT

The bar in the central arch is dominated by a metallic cover suspended above in which the drinks menu is placed on the inside written by hand.
At night when it’s closing time, the cover is lowered mechanically and shields the entire bar in order to protect against vandalism.
