The project at Villa Dubochet 14 embarked once again on an ambitious journey, weaving together the rich tapestry of heritage with cutting-edge architecture and contemporary comfort.
In collaboration with the Department of Historical Monuments, this endeavor promised not merely a renovation, but a transformative experience.
It involved a meticulous overhaul of the façade and a comprehensive revitalization of the interior, extending down to the very subsoil, inviting a captivating dialogue between past and present.
The helical staircase of the Villa Dubochet is a central feature of the architecture of these century-old homes. Each villa features a similar configuration of this staircase, designed to combine aesthetics and functionality, with its fluid and elegant shape.
While the overall design is the same, the materials and colors vary from villa to villa, giving each space a unique character.
Noble woods, crafted ironwork, and subtle tones lend a distinct identity to each staircase, while maintaining harmony with the overall architectural style.
These staircases, witnesses to the refinement of the era, remain a valuable part of the Villa Dubochet’s heritage.
The second floor of Villa Dubochet 14 was designed according to the client’s request, creating a separate apartment with a lounge, an integrated office, and a private bedroom for the gentleman of the family.
The space offers a dedicated area for relaxation, work, and rest, allowing him to have his own private living area while remaining within the villa.
Even the basement of Villa Dubochet was designed with great attention to elegance, particularly in the circulation hall. It features custom-made cabinets and woodwork that respect the classic Dubochet style, while being fully modernized.
Contemporary touches add an extra layer of sophistication, blending tradition and modernity to create a refined and functional space.
