Forms inspired by the world around us

ADELI creates bespoke furniture, objects and unique pieces at the intersection of design, sculpture and architecture.

Each creation begins with an observation — a form, movement or detail drawn from everyday life, nature, the animal world or the aquatic realm. A silhouette, a shell, a wing, a wave or a familiar object can become the starting point for a new interpretation.

These references are never reproduced literally. They are simplified, transformed and recomposed to create distinctive pieces in which form, material, function and character find their own balance.

DRAWING FROM THE LIVING WORLD

The animal and plant worlds offer an endless richness of lines, structures and movement.

Curves, tensions, symmetries and textures become sources of inspiration for expressive, sometimes sculptural pieces, always conceived with a precise function in mind.

EXPLORING THE AQUATIC WORLD

The fluid forms of marine life, the movement of water and aquatic organisms inspire more organic and dynamic volumes.

This exploration gives rise to objects whose lines seem to evolve naturally, shaped by movement rather than imposed geometry.

REINTERPRETING THE LEGACY OF DESIGN

Design can also emerge from a dialogue with the great references of the past.

The principles of the Bauhaus, the elegance of vintage furniture and the refinement of classical styles — from Louis XV to the masters of the 20th century — become sources of inspiration to be freely reinterpreted.

ADELI draws on their proportions, lines, details and spirit to create contemporary pieces that evoke an era without ever reproducing it literally.

TRANSFORMING THE EVERYDAY

The most ordinary objects can become unexpected sources of inspiration.

A piece of food, a utensil, packaging or a familiar shape can be enlarged, simplified, distorted or transformed to give rise to a distinctive piece of furniture or object.

This process of reinterpretation introduces an element of surprise — sometimes even playfulness — while maintaining a rigorous approach to form, function and material.

OBSERVING TO REINTERPRET

Design often begins with a closer look at the world around us. A natural form, an everyday object or an unexpected detail can become the starting point for a new creation.

The inspiration is then abstracted, transformed and reimagined to develop a distinctive identity, far removed from any literal imitation.

EXPLORING GEOMETRY AND MOVEMENT

Geometry also becomes a field of experimentation.

Parametric forms, repetition, distortion, stretching and shifts in scale allow a simple structure to evolve into more complex and dynamic volumes.

These explorations give rise to sculptural pieces in which rhythm, balance and movement become integral to the identity of the design.

INSPIRED BY THE WORLD OF CINEMA

Cinema offers a rich universe of forms, atmospheres and iconic characters.

A silhouette, a set, a cult object or the aesthetic of a particular era can become the starting point for a new creation. Freely reinterpreted, these references give rise to expressive pieces that evoke a cinematic world without ever becoming literal reproductions.
